Data Deletion Instructions

This page serves as the CardSwap data deletion instructions URL, including for Facebook Login and Meta App Review. It explains the fastest way to request deletion or archival of your CardSwap account and related data.

1. If you can still sign in to CardSwap

The fastest option is CardSwap's built-in account deletion flow. Sign in and then open the Delete account page.

2. If you connected Facebook or Google

  • You can remove CardSwap in Facebook under Settings & Privacy > Settings > Apps and Websites.
  • You can revoke Google access in your Google account under connected apps.
  • Removing a connected app stops future social sign-ins, but it does not automatically delete your existing CardSwap account. Please use the CardSwap account deletion flow or the contact route below for actual deletion.

3. If you can no longer sign in

If you no longer have access to your CardSwap account, send a deletion request to benjamin.lieberwirth@gmail.com and include the account email address and username if possible.

If the request relates to a Facebook login, it also helps to mention the Facebook email address or the app-scoped Facebook link if you know it.

4. What happens when we process a deletion request

  • Active offers and wishlist entries are removed.
  • The account is disabled or archived so it can no longer be used.
  • Limited security, moderation, anti-fraud, or legally required records may still be retained where necessary for lawful traceability or platform protection.
