These terms govern the use of CardSwap as a trading-card platform and apply to all accounts, sign-in methods, and trading features within the service.
CardSwap provides a platform for lists, match suggestions, messaging, and trade coordination. CardSwap is not a direct party to any trade, not a shipping provider, not a payment processor, and not a card custodian.
CardSwap does not currently sell physical cards itself and therefore does not provide a separate CardSwap withdrawal notice for user-to-user card trades. If CardSwap later offers paid services directly to consumers, the required consumer disclosures and any withdrawal information should be provided directly in the relevant offer or checkout flow.
CardSwap may operate in beta. Features, prices, match suggestions, translations, and integrations may be inaccurate, incomplete, or temporarily unavailable. Continuous uninterrupted availability is not guaranteed.
Price and card data may come in whole or in part from third-party sources such as Scryfall, TCGdex, YGOPRODeck, CardTrader, JustTCG, or other game-specific data providers. This data is provided for reference only. Prices may be stale, inaccurate, or incomplete and do not constitute a binding offer, valuation, or financial advice.
CardSwap may offer sign-in through Google and Facebook. When you use such a login, you authorize CardSwap to use the basic account data returned by that provider for sign-in, account linking, security, and fraud prevention.
CardSwap may restrict, suspend, or archive accounts in response to abuse, security risks, repeated complaints, or apparent fraud. Automated or manual moderation may consider match history, ratings, dispute reports, and available evidence.
CardSwap is intended for adults or for users who may only use the platform with the consent and supervision of a parent or guardian. Account information must remain truthful and current. Multiple accounts, identity misrepresentation, or the use of someone else's information are prohibited. Users are responsible for keeping their account credentials secure and for activity carried out through their account.
CardSwap may offer an optional passport MRZ check. This only performs a technical check of a passport machine-readable zone and validates the related ICAO check digits. The upload is processed in memory for that immediate check only. It is not a full identity verification, not an authenticity guarantee, and not a promise that the trading person is the actual holder of the document.
Users may only upload their own document or a document they are legally authorized to use for that flow. A successful check may appear as a small trust badge inside CardSwap.
You can start deletion or archival of your account through CardSwap's Delete account flow. The alternative process for privacy and deletion requests is described on the Data Deletion page.
Even after account deletion or after removing Google or Facebook access, CardSwap may retain limited trade, security, moderation, anti-fraud, or legally required records where necessary for lawful traceability or platform protection.
To the extent permitted by law, CardSwap is provided without warranties regarding availability, match quality, pricing accuracy, or successful completion of any trade. Liability for indirect losses, lost profits, failed trades, or inaccurate third-party data is excluded to the fullest extent permitted by law. Mandatory statutory liability remains unaffected.
CardSwap may change these terms, features, or integrations at any time to improve the service, respond to incidents, or meet legal requirements.
